Practitioner Perspective: Curt Savoie to Speak

Curt Savoie is defined by a passion for finding meaning in the noise, using cutting edge data science techniques to derive valuable insights and turn data into information. Savoie is a Boston University computer science graduate with an academic emphasis on data, logic, and mathematics applied to 15 years of real world analytics and R&D experience in manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and government.  As Boston’s Principal Data Scientist, he is currently leading the City of Boston’s effort around technical innovation and policy development with data, analytic, and research as well as advising other government officials on a local and national level on the use of data to further civic engagement and increase operational efficiency.
